Valerie Volk 'Finding Emma' Book Launch

Valerie Volk is an award-winning Adelaide writer, whose work has been published both within Australia and overseas. She has published several hundred prize-winning poems and short stories in journals and anthologies, as well as thirteen books. This event will launch the second historical fiction novel set in the local area, 'Finding Emma', following 'In Search of Anna'. Valerie is also known for her verse novels like 'A Promise of Peaches' and 'Passion Play', and biblical fiction like 'Bystanders' (2015) and 'Witnesses' (2023). She is well known for her poetry collections, among them the Caleb Prize-winning 'In Due Season', and 'Marking Time', as well as travel books. The launch will be held in the grounds of the Jindera Museum, Thursday 18th April commencing at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this event but booking is essential to allow for catering purposes and as numbers are limited.
